I'm so excited to combine two of my great loves: rock music and my dog. The American Music Club show last night was absolutely transcendent. Best AMC show ever. They've been on tour for 2 months now and it shows.
They were completely at ease from the start, and their between-song banter was hilarious. They kept fighting about who has better Mexican food: Los Angeles or San Francisco.
Mark dedicated songs to people all night, one was to his friend Kristen. The bass player countered the dedication with "Not the other Kristen. She's bullshit." and Mark repeated his dedication as if nothing happened and then launched into the song.
His last dedication of the evening was actually to Nick and me and our "beautiful dog Estro." I was touched. A song for the schnauzer.
