Driving down some flat, old freeway across Middle America, imagine spotting this big, sunny yellow thing with butter pats the size of floor pillows emblazoned on its side. Tell me that this wouldn't make you smile. The Batter Blaster Bus is rolling, and they have syrup on board. Thank you, Batter Blaster! You rock the road and my belly.

We made so many that we started getting punchy with the shapes, spelling out the names of the bands playing, like Oranger, and then Nick served me my own name.
Nick sent me a Fox News story today. Twice. I didn't reply to him so finally he asked, "Do you not click on Fox news links?" and well, apparently I don't.
But finally I did and it's an Associated Press story on Batter Blaster!
Big news on the front page of today's Chronicle. My husband Nick is the operations guy at Batter Blaster and below is Sean O'Connor, the inventor, president, and man quoted saying to his wife, "Oh yeah, baby, I'll make you waffles."
Best new use of Batter Blaster discovered yesterday is with a slice of coffee toffee ice cream cake on top. Oh yeah.
