I told Nick about the new camera I've been visiting online and in stores and he replied, "Talk to your boy" which translates to some sort of slang that he had to explain to me. Some hip-hop thing but he meant, he'll get it for me and it's a present.

Want a secret? The 3-wick doozy of a candle is the only thing I've wanted from Victoria's Secret in for like ever. Their lingerie shreds when you look at it but then, that is the point. Some magazine wrote about the scented candles so I landed me this one flavored "Mood/Deeper" despite the hideous name.
It's making the house waft of roses but with something cool like water.

This and another bouquet actually survived the trip home in the trunk. We're all here, safe and sound. This morning I made the bed while the dog was still on it. Now that's talent.

I beg your pardon. I never promised you a rose garden. Lookie this new flower that just opened for business. It's actually from a teeny tiny single stem plant that emerged right next to a larger rosebush in our yard. Whatever the name of it is, seedling? Baby rosebush? Here's a rose glossary with fun terms like budwood, deadhead, and pegging.
Here's today's take on a very old soapdish. Grab tight, dry rosebuds from the garden, soak them in warm water to encourage their opening, and let the sun shine in. What may not get anyone much cleaner is rather pretty to see, no?
